About me
Sufala, what does it mean?
I like to first explain where the name of my practice comes from and what it means.
My birth name is Natasja Roos and my later name about 30 years ago is Sufala. I have never actively used it until now. As a nickname I didn't think it suited me, but I knew I would use it one day. So I have now given her to my work and here she fits very nicely. Completely in place. The name comes from India and translated into Dutch it means "fertile". Sufala ~ Breath of life is translated as "Fertile breath of life". That's exactly what our breath is. The most fertile thing there is for man. When you are born, the first thing you do is breathe, and when you die, you take your last breath. In addition, the breath is also a powerful and beautiful tool to bring yourself to wholeness.

A little bit about me
I am 50+, mother of three sons who are each walking their own unique way and very clearly their own paths, and paths that do not always go over roses either. I have a wonderful and honest relationship with Marco, a relationship that gives me and both of us the space and love to develop ourselves individually while also growing and enjoying together. Together we also have two dog children Sandy & Skye, so-called Tollers. Early January 2023 we moved to northern Portugal where we are building our lives here day by day with nature and from our hearts.
In terms of work, I am a Transformational Breath Coach, Soul Coach, Energy Reader, Energy Worker and show people the way. Not from "a better knowing", but from alignment with your soul and energy and what is important to you.
I also like to draw and paint Mandalas, but sometimes I make something else as well. In the future, I will also start showing my work. We have a beautiful vegetable garden and fruit trees here which also keeps me well occupied during much of the year. I love good, healthy and tasty food, partly because I believe it is very important to take good care of your body. I love cooking.
Furthermore, I have all kinds of other hobbies. I just like a lot of things. I love creativity and like to be creative, but I can also really enjoy daydreaming and doing nothing, periods of reflection.
My life is not set in stone, so things change regularly for me. This keeps it lively for me. For those familiar with Human Design and Gene Keys, I understand when I say that this also fits my profile. A Manifesting Generator with a 5/1 Profile.
The day I reconnected with myself was the beginning of my recovery.
With that, I learned to feel and recognise what my personal ‘pace’ is and that this is totally okay.

What life brought me so far.
I have always been sensitive and highly developed intuitively. I was born that way, and the family I was born into has also caused me to have to develop these sensitivities even more. This has brought about all sorts of things in my life that have not exactly been easy, but it has also helped me become who I am. Because of this, I first spent much of my life in ‘survival mode’, also known as dissociation. At the time, I was unaware of this.
Until, after yet another burn-out, I reached a point where I realised deeply that I could no longer go on like this. I plunged into the depths, learned, felt, slowed down, slowed down and slowed down some more. I started feeling and breathing. I started reconnecting with my essence and learning to live in ‘MY OWN TEMPO’. I still delve into this every day, because the learning process never stops. Fortunately too, because it is so beautiful, interesting and most important of all, it has brought me where I am today. As strange as this may sound to some people, I am immensely grateful for my life with everything in it. Really, nothing excepted! So also my shadow sides. Precisely also my shadow, which are the KEYS.
When I was a girl, I always wanted to dance, I wanted to be a choreographer. Dancing brought and brings me fully into the moment and in touch with my essence. I also started high school at the dance academy where I was eventually rejected again. When that dream fell apart around puberty, my world collapsed. From then on, I didn't know what I wanted in life for a very long time. I was really lost. Now years and years later, through everything I went through, experienced and made the journey to my inner world, it was finally clear what I want to do in life and what my talents are. Everything fell together at some point and it suddenly made complete sense. I want to and can help / guide others on their personal journey, the road to remembering who they are. The way in, the way to their essence at their own pace. I have experienced and done a lot myself, I could write a series of books about it instead of one. All these experiences have also taught me naturally not to judge what anyone tells me. Nothing human is alien to me.
So, in all these years I have come into possession of a huge treasure chest full of experiences and skills that I can use alongside my highly developed intuitive gifts to deliver tailor-made solutions in my coaching with you.

Study
For me, it became very clear that I needed to gain a lot of life experience first and foremost. Those experiences then made it clear to me what I wanted to do in my life. They also made me aware of my talents. In addition to this, I have studied a lot in recent years, both for my own healing and processes and to learn a lot of skills that I can use now.
Below you can read what I have done pretty much in story form. Everything is so intertwined and animated that when I write it down as a summary it doesn't make sense to me.
This studying in recent years I did largely alongside the work I was still doing at the time. I first completed the study of Energetic Therapist at Civas. Then I did and completed Fitness Trainer A and Strength training at Train the Trainers. I did not actively work as a fitness trainer. Purely for myself. I also completed a nutrition training course. The latter I completed, but did not take an exam in.
After these studies, I felt it was time to do some deep inner work and enter into my personal processes. I started combining this with courses in it. I started the Soul Coach year training of the Sacred Journey to learn to support and guide people in their personal processes, inner child processes and processing traumas. All these processes I personally experienced here too.
I continued this journey while learning by taking Lars Faber's (The Breathwork Coach) Breathcoach Training Course The Wounded Healer. To deepen my own personal development and growth, because I certainly wasn't done yet. Not myself and of course also to learn even more about how to support and guide others in their personal processes, inner child processes and trauma processing. In fact, besides all the experiences in my life, I really wanted to learn by experiencing myself, so that I really fully understand, live and feel what I am doing. I am someone who learns by experiencing anyway. During these studies, I knew at one point ‘This is what I want to do’. This work fits me like a glove and I do it with a lot of love and dedication.
Then I did the Heartdancing training of Tanja Faber-Baetsen of De Gewijde Reis / Sacred Lotus. Heartdancing is a form of movement where you get in touch with yourself and with others. Connecting with your own body, your heart, becoming aware of how you make contact. In short, becoming aware of what happens in your inner world and connecting with others in the dance from there. In the future, I will integrate this into my work which we will establish here in Portugal.
At the same time that I followed the Heartdancing Training Course, I also supervised a training year at Lars' Breathcoach Training Course. A kind of internship year, this brought me at least that much extra depth.
In addition, I started my practice Sufala Soulwork for individual coaching and supervised breathing circles and a women's circle of fellow colleagues.
Last and certainly not least, I completed the curriculum of Natural Success including Mastery and here I learned that we and by this I mean every person is the creator of his or her life. How to work with choices and structures that WILL serve you. As well as the other courses I have felt this one is also focused on experiencing and doing. Experiencing, applying and doing. Especially also with a Coach and yes, the latter also applies to me.
I always keep developing myself by continuing to do breathwork myself and the ongoing self-study that once it gets going never stops either. I also really enjoy it. Supervising fellow coaches when it is so convenient. Deepening days/weekends. There are also some courses and training that I would like to take when I get to that point again. This too fits with who I essentially am by design.
I hope that through the above piece and the rest of what you have read on my website you have been able to form a bit of an idea about me and what I could do for you.
Please feel welcome to contact me whenever you feel this way.
With much love I will listen to you and hear if there is anything I can do for you.
With love Natasja
